David L. Mincey, III is a Superior Court Judge in the Macon-Bibb, Crawford and Peach Counties. He was appointed by Governor Nathan Deal in 2017. He is a fifth-generation graduate of Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law.

After Graduation, he was hired at Macon’s Sell & Melton law firm until 2006, when he joined his father’s firm in Roberta, Georgia.  During his practice at Mincey and Mincey, he became Crawford County’s attorney in 2009 and has represented Roberta, Butler and Reynolds while taking on other clients, representing them in a broad range of legal areas.

Judge Mincey enjoys spending time with his wife, Tracie, and their four children, 13- year -old Anna, 11-year-old Eleanor, and 8-year-old twins David and William. He’s a member of Highland Hills Baptist Church in Macon and sings with the Macon Civic Club.
