Biographical Information:

Judge Connie L. Williford was born and grew up in Newnan, Georgia where she graduated from Newnan High School in 1988 and went on to attend college in the neighboring Carrollton, Georgia at the University of West Georgia, earning an English degree with a minor in Psychology. She worked for a few years as a caseworker with the Clayton County Department of Family and Children Services before deciding to go back to school to pursue a law degree. She graduated from Mercer University School of Law in 2000, earning an award for Outstanding Law Student. While in law school, Judge Williford founded the Georgia Association for Women Law Students Charity Ball and Auction to benefit charities throughout Middle Georgia. The Gala is still an annual event at the law school and has now raised approximately $300,000 for charities throughout Macon and Middle Georgia.

After graduation, Judge Williford worked for 5 years at a personal injury firm in Macon before founding her own firm, The Law Offices of Connie L. Williford. She has served as President of the Middle Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and the Middle Georgia Chapter of the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers.

In 2020 Judge Williford was the recipient of the statewide Justice Robert Benham Community Service Award and the local Macon Bar Association Lawyer of the Year Award, recognizing her for her charitable good works outside of the courtroom.

Judge Williford resides in Macon with her husband, James Marsh. They are the parents of a son, James Austin Marsh, and several spoiled canine children.
